Having just delved into Workday’s CHRO AI Indicator Report, I found some compelling insights that I’d like to share with you. For those interested in a deeper understanding, you can download the full report here.

Embracing the AI Opportunity: HR’s Perspective

According to the report, 39% of HR professionals are excited about incorporating AI into their roles, while 40% believe it will empower their teams to offer more strategic value.

AI’s Impact on Key HR Functions

The survey sheds light on specific areas where HR leaders foresee immediate AI value. Thirty-five percent believe performance management will benefit the most, aiding in tasks such as performance evaluation and review drafting. Skills management (34%) and recruitment/onboarding (33%) are also expected to be positively influenced by AI.

HR Leaders’ Concerns and Challenges

Despite the optimism, the report reveals HR leaders’ concerns about AI, with 47% worrying about its trustworthiness. Other apprehensions include potential bias (21%), errors (21%), and security/privacy issues (21%). Additionally, 42% believe their teams are not fully prepared for AI implementation.
